Online Experience A Wrap Up/Reflection

Technology is an important part of life now-a-days, we use technology for basically everything. Technology is so important because it provide us with easier and simpler ways of doing things. Technology has changed over the past 5 years because it has become more advanced. We have discovered so much more and we are continuing to find even more advancements in technology. I think over the next 5 years we will be twice as far as we are now. The type of technology that we use for school work is computers and overhead projectors and stuff like that. For my own personal use i use cell phones, iPods, Laptops, etc.

Some tools that I think I would use that I learned in this class would be being safe online, using common sense, iGoogle, ways to narrow an Internet search and many more. If I had to choose one tool that would be most useful in lifelong learning, the one tool that i think will be most useful to me would be ways of narrowing a Internet search so that you can find your desired results quicker. The one tool that I don't think that  I will use again would be the RSS feed. Of all the tools that we have created, my favorite would be iGoogle. My least favorite tool that we have created would be avatars.

2. I think this website was very easy to use because you typed in the website and everything you needed was right there, there was no steps involved that were not needed.
3. I would strongly recommend that Mrs. Fowler use this website in the future for class assignments because it was just so simple and easy to use

I read the Article Buying an iPad2: What you need to know. This article talked about how the new iPad2 will be released online and in retail stores on Friday March 11, 2011. Some are suggesting that the iPad2 will be in high demand. With the original iPad and iPhone Apple allowed preordering, but with iPad2 they said it will be released on apple.com on March 11 sometime early in the morning. In addition to Apple retail stores the iPad2 will be released at Best Buy, Target, Sam's Club, Walmart and Verizon Wireless. The iPad2 will be available in the colors of either Black or White. The price for the iPad ranges from $499.99-$829.99.

Zoo Review

The zoo/aquarium that I researched was Ripley's Aquarium located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I chose this aquarium because I have been there before and thought that it was fun, very hands on, and interesting. When researching this aquarium I found the website very helpful because it was easy to use, organized, and it provided a lot of pictures to keep it very visual. Most of these pictures I could use in my presentation. However, the website did not provide a virtual tour. The best part of the website was that everything was very organized and I could find one specific habitat in the aquarium easily if I wanted to. The one thing that I think I would improve about this website is making a virtual tour of the aquarium.

In 10 years...

In 10 years i will have completed high school and college, earned a degree and will be pursuing the job of a nurse. I see myself living in Michigan, new york, or California and being married. Within the next few years i will have kids. I will have a yorkie as a pet. I will have a nice, comfortable home, and a nice car as well.  Over the next few years my sister and I would have taken possession of my family's dance studio. That is what my life will be like in 10 years.
